ChelHead is a community-built NHL 27 EASHL statistics, rankings, and analytics site. We provide players, clubs, and the EASHL community with data insights to help review performance and connect with other players.

Our Mission

ChelHead exists so players and clubs can look up their EASHL stats, follow how they change over time, and find other players to play with. Most of the site is free to use without an account.

EASHL has long been a competitive mode where statistics matter. However, the in-game menus show a limited set of numbers. ChelHead adds match history, per-position breakdowns, its own Deserve to Win (DTW) and Player Score metrics, and EA's club leaderboards in one place.

How We Collect Data

ChelHead reads publicly available Pro Clubs statistics and presents them in searchable views for clubs and players across supported platforms.

Most changes appear within an hour, often sooner; it can take longer when EA is busy or slow.

How often stats update, the gaps in what EA provides and the percentages we recalculate are explained on the methodology page.

The data we show includes:

  • Club statistics: wins, losses, goals for, goals against, win percentages
  • Player statistics: goals, assists, points, plus/minus, shots, hits, and more
  • Position-specific metrics: performance by position (forward, defense, goalie)
  • Match history: detailed game-by-game results and performance data
  • Seasonal trends: tracking performance across different seasons

Data Accuracy and Credibility

ChelHead shows EA's raw counts as EA reports them. A few percentages that EA sums incorrectly across players are recalculated from the raw counts, and the metrics ChelHead computes itself, such as DTW and Player Score, are labelled as ChelHead metrics.

Our platform includes built-in validation and error handling to ensure data integrity. If data is unavailable or incomplete, we clearly indicate this to users rather than displaying misleading information.

While we strive for 100% accuracy, occasional discrepancies may occur due to:

  • Data response delays or temporary unavailability
  • Data synchronization timing between EA's servers and our platform
  • Edge cases in data formatting or interpretation

Advanced Analytics and Methodology

Beyond raw statistics, ChelHead calculates advanced metrics that provide deeper insights into performance:

  • Deserve to Win (DTW): An estimated chance of winning based on shots, possession, puck play, and discipline. A 69% DTW means roughly 69 wins per 100 comparable performances, using aggregate match stats rather than the final score.
  • Player Score: A per-game score for each player. For skaters it adds goals, assists, shots, plus/minus, possession time, blocks, takeaways, interceptions, net faceoff wins, hits and penalties drawn, and subtracts giveaways and penalty minutes. For goalies it counts saves, breakaway and penalty shot saves, save percentage, shutouts and goals against.
  • Position Analysis: Detailed breakdowns of performance by position, helping players understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Club Rankings: EA's own leaderboards, including season ranking points and club rankings, plus a Live Top 100.

ChelHead includes these features:

  • Club Leaderboards: EA's club leaderboards for the current-generation game (PS5 and Xbox Series).
  • Player Search: Advanced search functionality to find any player, view detailed statistics, and track performance over time.
  • Free Agency: Listings for players looking for a club and clubs looking for players, with messaging and filters for position, availability and game type.
  • Comparison Tools: Side-by-side comparisons of players and clubs, including a matchup win estimate for two clubs.
  • Discord Bot: Integration with Discord servers to bring EASHL statistics directly into your community channels via slash commands.
  • Match Analysis: Detailed breakdowns of individual matches with advanced metrics and visualizations.

Privacy and User Data

We are committed to protecting user privacy. ChelHead collects minimal personal information necessary to provide our services. User accounts are optional for most features, and we never share user data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services.

EASHL statistics displayed on our platform come from public game statistics sources. We do not collect or store sensitive personal information beyond what users voluntarily provide. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
